Field Trip Chaperons for October 22

Posted Date: 10/05/26 (11:47 AM)

Hello!

The ENTIRE SCHOOL is going on a field trip, and we need some parent volunteers to help chaperone! The details are as follows:

On October 22, as a reward for positive behaviors during the first term, each grade level will be taking an off-campus field trip. The goal of each trip is to help students learn more about the opportunities and activities within their community.

To help support this, we will need parent-chaperones at the following locations. Please note that chaperones are to meet the bus at the field trip location at the designated time. You DO NOT need to take the bus! Also, please sign up for the grade-level trip that your student will be attending.

7th grade - Thanksgiving Point
8th grade - Loveland Living Planet Aquarium 9th grade - Hogle ZooPlease note that to "qualify" for this field trip, your child must have less than two "U" citizenship grades. If your child has two or more "U" grades, they will remain here at school during the field trip (as well as during the end-of-term celebration activity that follows the field trip) to work on school work or projects.
As a reminder, students can remediate missing citizenship points by completing a Citizenship Remediation Form. Each card that is completed earns back one citizenship point. Remediation Cards can be found in the both main office and in the counseling office.
Finally, if you would like to opt your student out of these activities (field trip and end-of-term celebration), please fill out this opt out form below. If you choose this option, please let us know if your child will be staying at school or if they are going to be checked out for the day. (Knowing this will help us with staffing).
Thank you in advance for your help with this event. We will have more of these in the future, so if you can't make it to this one, hopefully we can have you join in on one later on this year!
